On Tuesday, 13th of June Professor of Systematic Theology Dr Ryan McGraw from the Greenville Presbyterian Theological Seminary (GPTS) in South Carolina will hold a public lecture on preaching and prayer meetings. Dr McGraw wants to speak specifically about the question, “Why Should We Have Prayer Meetings?”. Everyone with an interest in theology is warmly invited to join us on Tuesday, 13th June 8-9 pm at the WPTS.
Additionally, he will teach our students an intensive course on John Owen throughout the whole week (12-16 June). Some of his publications on this topic include: A Heavenly Directory: Trinitarian Piety, Public Worship, and a Reassessment of John Owen’s Theology (Vandenhoeck & Ruprecht, 2014) and The Foundation of Communion with God: The Trinitarian Piety of John Owen (Reformation Heritage Books, 2014). There is a possibility to audit the whole course for a small fee of £ 40 (fee decreases if only a few lectures are attended).
